In order to actively respond to the national strategy call of the Party Central Committee for supporting the development of the Yangtze River Delta region, and promote the high-quality development of the regional engineering cost industry in the Yangtze River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta Regional Project Cost Management Work Conference, recently led by the Shanghai Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Management Committee Held in Shanghai, it marks the formal implementation of the development of the triangle management of the Yangtze River Delta.

The main responsible persons of the cost management agencies of the three provinces and one city respectively reported on the work of cost management in the region, and expanded the depth and breadth of the project cost management work in the Yangtze River Delta region, and carried out rules, information sharing, management, and talent cultivation. In-depth discussion was conducted. Under the joint witness of the deputy director of the Ministry of Construction and the deputy director and deputy director Zhang Lei, signed the “Memorandum of Cooperation on the Work of the Yangtze River Delta Regional Construction Cost Management”.

Deputy Director Wang Wei fully affirmed the importance of the integration of cost management in the Yangtze River Delta region. He stressed that it is necessary to take the market transaction to form a price-oriented, and continuously deepen the reform of "marketization, internationalization, informationization, and legalization" of project cost management, and establish a project cost system that is compatible with the market economy.
